NHS Trust in South West London is a busy, acute hospital serving a local population of 350,000. To meet growing levels of demand and changes in clinical practice increases in endoscopy services are required.
The Trust’s current endoscopy services are inadequate to meet the growing levels of demand and a new endoscopy unit is proposed to be located in the north east corner of Esher Wing 7th floor.
The new endoscopy unit will provide additional facilities including 3no. new Endoscopy Procedure Rooms and new Transnasal Endoscopy Procedure Room and also en-suite patient room for each patients, compliant with current standards, to allow the Trust to provide the level of service commensurate with increasing demand.
