Cancer care for patients at East Surrey Hospital is transformed with the new Macmillan Cancer Support Centre. Opened in January 2016, it is the first stand-alone support centre providing specialist help for cancer patients in a friendly, non-clinical environment.
The fast expansion of an American technology company meant a need to decant from their London HQ to larger premises. A suitable 1000sqm space was found in Reading where a full fit-out was required. The scheme had to be delivered to a very challenging programme to ensure a relocation with minimal disruption.

Opening on the 5 May 2014, on the International Day of the Midwife, this is the first purpose built Midwifery Led Birth Unit in England. A unique NHS facility in the local area it offers an ideal ‘home from home’ setting for women seeking a natural and positive birth experience.
The scheme followed on from Studio 4’s design of their London Headquarters. The successful joinery, furnishings and finishes from the London project were developed for the larger, open plan arrangement for the Cork Technical support centre. The brief included open plan areas for up to 90 people and a suite of meeting rooms, conference room and a large training room.
The Centre has been designed to provide a space, which takes advantage of as much natural daylight as possible whilst maintaining a high level of privacy and visual amenity by the inclusion of a courtyard garden, solely accessed via the Information Centre.
STUDIO 4 were appointed by a fast expanding US technology company to locate and fit out their London based UK sales office. This fast-track project required a detailed evaluation of a number of available category A office spaces in central London.
